In making Art, I mostly draw from within….constantly trying to discover my own inner self…Every now and then life brings back vivid dreams of childhood……wild, free, adventurous, innocent where even hard times were fun times…..Manasbal Lake….playing hide and seek in the haystacks with my cousins…….. raising chickens……sliding down the snow covered hills in dinner plates stolen from the kitchen at home……Sometimes I wish to reconnect with that original self again….untamed and courageous….My recent Fall 2010, ( check out my Portfolio) collection was all about revisiting that self….tracing my roots and my own transition as a person….Here I am….in this quiet room, don’t know who I am talking to and who is reading my Blog…..but do leave a comment, or if you have some stories to share……I love listening to stories.
